i'm by no means a nature photographer so take my input for what it's worth. the first one feels a little tight, and they both look a little too green to me. looks like wb is off and/or the vibrance of the greenery is throwing me off. the place seems cool though, i'll have to check it out some time.

Agree the first one is only a horse head, not much to see there. The second one looks more like a deer

Yeah it is. Guess I should have chose a different title. I just liked how it was sitting under the tree. I should have zoomed out a little in the first one and taken a couple more shots. Thanks for the info.
