So I just took my new Sony A7 (w/ kit lens 28-50 3.5-5.6) out for a spin at night to try to snap some shots of the Milky Way. I heard this was a great camera for super low-light situations and it didn't disappoint. Here's the best I came up with after about 30 mins of trying different ISO, shutter speed combos (set at f3.5 the whole time). Not too bad for a first time if I do say so myself but I was hoping to get some tips and tricks to really get these looking nice. Thoughts? Critique away.

Looks like a great first attempt. Better than I've been able to pull off. If I had to change something it would be to add better foreground subject matter. The MW and stars look really good but the foreground is lacking.
