A new maternity session with a couple whose wedding I shot last October. I loved their nursery setup and requested that we do the session there for a more natural feel. I love the way they turned out!

If you'd like to check out the whole set, you can see it on my blog.

Pretty nice photos, but shot #8 looks very off-kilter in terms of processing; it looks like a grave exposure mistake was corrected, and then turned to a B&W...just not a good exposure on that one. The other shots look nice. I like the color ones that are light, bright, and airy-feeling. The compositions on some of these are just wonderful, too. Very nice way of showing and story-telling, without being overly sappy and trite, and also without inserting yourself and your presence into the pics...we see far too many sets of this stuff where the "photographer" seems to insert herself and her presence and her camera's presence into the shots, showing the couple laughing and giggling and clowning, and sometimes even literally reaching out to the camera, thus spoiling the mood, spoiling the impression of an invisible observer.

The B&Ws look like you're going for a sort of soft, glowy effect, but wind up raising the black point instead, which isn't the same thing.

Great colors! But I missed some higher contrast on the B&W ones.

Such a cute idea! I'll have to remember this set! My favorites are definitely the bright colorful ones, but that's sort of my preference all around! I wish she looked more pregnant in #5, maybe had her pooch out her tummy a little, she just doesn't look pregnant in that one, just looks like she has a little weight around her middle. Love it overall!
