This was all taken by new new D300. I am finding that some of the images aren't turning out as clear as my Canon 40D (when I had it) but they are still okay on most. The ones that do turn out good...really turn out good. I think I am just having trouble with some focusing issues. Anyone know of any good nature photographers (besides Moose Peterson) that uses Nikon?

Look up some of the national geographic shooters. Lots of em use Nikon.

Thanks will do. I know the D300 is an Amazing machine, I just must be doing something wrong...well, hell, it is the first I have tried to shoot incoming birds...so I am sure it is me. I will get the hang of it........eventually.

Well, if any of these were mine, I'd be happy with it. Mostly so with the birds in flight. I find birds in flight ever so hard to get!!!

The one that makes me laugh the most is Photo 6 of that challenging squirrel. As if it were going to say "C'mon, fight me!" Squirrel photos are ALWAYS cute (as is 4), but 6 is cutest.

And that resting black swan ... what do you guess? Might I like the background?
