Attempting B&W C&C pls

The crooked teeth are also apart of her so I don't mind it. I never understand why people go overboard in trying to cover any features like that. She is a pretty young lady.

I agree that it needs more contrast to bring the features out. You have photoshop and don't use it (just for photo restoration)?? That is the tragedy here.
The tragedy is you not seeing the larger picture. This is not a post processing issue, it is a photographer's introspection.

The idea here, in my mind, is to enhance the natural beauty without bringing to the forefront those issues that will not be issues in a matter of a few years. A simple shift from the photographer's PoV would've / could've changed the dynamics of this session. That's why we patch blemishes and move our camera position to embelish the positive. It's a temporary state.

However, sometimes it is not a temporary state. Let's say it's an mature female that has more folds than a Parisian crepe. What do YOU do? Show the triple chin? or take a two step ladder and shoot from above. That's not cheating, that's using your head for something other than a hat rack.

I don't get how you have decided from one sentence that you think you know what I understand and don't understand. But thanks for the lecture anyway. Best of luck with it all. ;) Oh and photoshop is good for removing blemishes too. But you don't use it that's right:mrgreen:

Although I like to be upfront and candor with folks, there was no missgivings in my response. Lecturing is for others. If you feel that is my case, dude, I apologize..... not intended. At my last count.... there were 6 sentences involved of your response....... not one. I may have responded to all or just a select few depending on your count.

Color me bad burgo, but no offense was intended. I bow my chest on certain issues and decidedly remain calm on others. Couldn't care which way forward is taken. Gimme your worst. :er:

That's cool. My "tragedy" comment" was tongue in cheek. :greenpbl: So sorry if that came across conceited. Photography is such a subjective thing unless there are glaring problems with a photo, it often just comes down to opinion. I have my likes and dislikes as do you. So no probs with me. I have taken no offence.
