Also, i would perhaps try hue>colorize on the faces to take some of the pink out and match it better to the yellow yolk...
personally i would also trim the yolk around your face using the clone tool

kinda like that... to make the yolk and the face more of a single entity (hope you didn't mind me butchering your pic!)

You might be able to adjust the perspective of the plate, or at least how it looks using transform or skew etc.

When you are done, I'm sure we would all like to see the whole series.

just what captain spanky said about trimming around the face... and blend mode to bring on a different colour redition.
Table cloth looks really noisy... Great idea!
