I grew up in a household of Frank Sinatra (supposedly I am 'Nancy with the Smilin' Face), Glen Campbell, Simon/Garfunkle, and such...I am a lucky girl

I know, that's what popped into my head. I actually like the music, reminds me of us playing my mom's old records and dancing around in the living room. You cannot possibly listen to this and sit still!

Yes, and both songs were used in the opening credits of the tv show, which is why Sharon asked where Richie and Potsie were. Many people associate that song with Happy Days. I know I do.

I don't think Richie or Potsie (or Joanie, Fonzie Howard, Marion, Al or Ralph, for that matter) appeared on the Ed Sullivan show to sing a song.

I realized the clip was from Ed Sullivan, but we all have different frames of reference. My mind went to what I remember, which was the Fonz and American Graffiti.

And of course Happy Days is being rerun on MeTV which a local station carries so I see commercials for it (so that helps get it stuck in my head!).

I was around then, but did not (still do not) listen to pop music. I barely know the names of those performers. I certainly couldn't recite the lyrics.
