For me a once in a lifetime capture.. we never get northern lights here ever. taken 10-10-24 near Haskins Ohio about 5 miles from my home. Aurora at Weirs Rapids by Photography by Jamison, on Flickr

gorgeous and lucky! i was in winchester, oh (south of cincinnati) that night on my way back from a road trip out west. i wasn't too familiar with the area, but i found a lake with a boat ramp that looked like a decent spot to setup. the aurora was fairly disappointing. i only captured a little bit of the magenta on the camera.
