Autumn colors

...in the backyard. I was meant to go out to take a few shots in the morning, but the sky was overcast and it was dark as a result.

Later in the day it was sunny (but only for a very short period of time) so I grabbed the opportunity. I just hope I didn't get too trigger-happy with the colors.

I swear this maple tree-ling is this intensely red in real life too!

Did you also go to the woods and took some images there?

Nope, but I will once there is favorable light; right now there is something of an autumn storm passing by and the sky is overcast.

Do you have birch mainly trees over there in the woods? Are many red yet? or still yellow? I was in Northern Sweden this month, and already beginning of September many trees became golden.

There are quite many birch & pine trees here. Most birch trees are now yellow and will probably lose their leaves by next week.
