Hi Paul - nice to come across another adoptive Bristolian, particularly one who's lived on the right side of the border! Love your Gower shot, btw

The foggy photo was taken about a third of the way down the row of apartments opposite the Mud Dock cycleworks, looking towards Thekla. It's across the road from the Industrial Museum, next to Prince Street swingbridge (the one that's just reopened after refurbishment). I walk/cycle that way every day on the way home from the Uni.
