it would have been awesome if the whole leaf was highlighted, but oh well! still turned out great... DOF is dead on

), saying that I'd have loved to see the whole leaf highlighted.

Other than that let me say Hallo to you, Carfa, and welcome to the Forum, send more of your pictures!

And if you have more of translucent leaves, the better: I just LOVE the sight of those! Always: in photos, in nature - always!!!

Mind you (I have to say this, I can't help myself): the PhotoForum also has a section called "Themes", and in that section a subsection called "The colour Green" where we are "collecting" our photos that focus on that colour. This one would go there well!

Thanks everyone for your comments.
Some of you mentioned the highlight of the leaf and I agree.
I bought my camera just a few weeks ago and I need to practice and experiment some more.
The photo was just a result of some few random snapshots.
