Color full spectrum visible light and infrared from a Nikon D70, no filter. 50mm Nikon Series E lens which allows lots of IR light through without any issue, there isn't much distortion in the lens, I prefer shooting it from f/8 to f/22 because after removing the IR cut filter it doesn't focus as sharply. That isn't a mistake, it's just a product of altering the light path inside the camera.
There is only one shot in this series (currently or forever) as I further develop my IR imaging skills and knowledge. I shot this image on Avon St. in Los Angeles, there's a particularly nice overlook here, and there was a sunset as well, which I shot quickly or else the images would not align properly.
The image wasn't as simple as applying this preset, I merge images, remove dust (from taking the camera apart to remove the IR filter and from it being an old machine) and then, for this image, I made a copy of the image, layered them to keep some colors and remove some others.
