Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
After I had a chance to play with my aunt's Nikon D40 last weekend I couldn't go back to my Casio Exilm, so I decided to make Christmas come a little early this year and I went ahead and upgraded to a Nikon D60 which I found for a descend price. Now my question is to all the other "professional" photographers on here is, what are some pointers that you can give me?

So far for the new Camera I have bought:
4GB SDHC Memory
Armor Protective Skin - Link
Pelican® Case 1400 - Link

Sorry im a noob.. Can a mod move this to the off-topic or the proper section.. Thanks

Is that protective skin really worth it? opinions?

I don't know. The camera is pretty sturdy, but would that really make a difference if you drop it? I imagine some of the camera's guts are pretty sensitive and it wouldn't make a difference with that skin.

Well it does add on the coolness level:thumbup:

Well, as far as other purchases go, the Nikon or Sigma 55-200mm lenses are both great, perfect for general sports and wildlife photography. One of the Nikon lenses has VR (Vibration Reduction) which is handy for eliminating hand-shake at slow shutter speeds.

But keep practising, I can't wait to see some of your photos!
