Awwww, a baby!

Hi,

I said I would do some newborn pics for my sister when she had the baby. Well, these are 15 weeks later! Oops!

Anyway, they are my second shoot of a baby (and a damn sight better than the first set) and as it was family, I had better control over what he did and where we worked.

here are a couple I like...what do you think?

This high-key stuff doesn't work for me on a baby shoot.

I don't really know about the tone in the first two. Not a fan of it. Much prefer the third color and posing actually. Although I will disagree with Traveler I think when done well high key and infants can be quite nice.

Thanks. I like the third one, too. What is it about the first that you don't like? You say a "well done" high key is good, which means these aren't. Can you say what it is, so I can have a go at improving them?

I like #2 since it looks like he's om nom nom'ing it up....

But #3 is my favorite...the pose+color works better (for ME) than the other 2.
