SO! Where to begin?? :sillysmi:
My name is Patricia, but I go by Risha...not a very common nickname that I know, so makes me feel as unique as I'd like to think I am. I'm 25yrs young and a newly wed. I married my best friend on March 17 (didnt realize until AFTER I booked the ceremony location that it was St. Patricks Day lol). We have been a together a total of 8yrs next month. He is truly my soul mate and best friend. He is basically the reason I took an interest in photography. A few of his friends have done some photo shoots for their cars, and from there the light flickered a bit.
Another reason I took an interest in photography was seeing my sister in law spend a ridiculous amount on money on portraits for my niece and nephew that weren't worth the money she spent. Granted, they were at a professional studio, but I felt it was not worth the high price tag for the picture quality. I felt that when it was time for my own children, I want to be able to take their pictures and give them more of a sentimental value/feeling. For now! I am blessed to have enough family and friends with children of their own whom I can practice on. I figure that its a great trade for us all. I get the practice (and maybe even exposure) that I need, and they have memories of their children that I would hope come out great.
I am happy with the label amateur/newb photographer for now, gives me room for error and learning. For now I practice on my cars, they stay still and are the easier than people for now.
I try to be a very upfront and honest person, but sometimes I come off as blunt. I apologize upfront lol I have been told I have no filter, and need to think before I speak. I'm a young soul, not to be confused with immature. I most def. know there is a time and place for everything.
Basically, I try to be the most down to Earth person I could possibly be. I'd like to say I'm easy to get along with, but I'll let you all be the judge of that
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself.
