B&W Flower shots

Took some shots of this bunch of flowers, turned out alright. I've got plenty more.

Hi. Nice attempt. In first one exposure is somewhat off, the second is much better, very nice, dynamic compo. Just make sure next time your background is clean, even small thing could be distracting.

I am not saying you're right or wrong either way, but would like to know what provoked you to shoot this subject in B&W.

Ok, again not saying you're right or wrong... but what about this photo is reminiscent of the ones on the link you posted?

Why I wanted to shoot a subject whose main aspect is it's color?
It's different, I personally like certain flowers in b&w, it depends on the shadows though.
