B&W landscape lake shot

took this picture in the britsh summer. Do you think the b&w worked or should I of used colour?

it works for me, although i might try cropping that bit of cloud off the top... :thumbup:

I like the look of the clouds & the sky but I think everything else is a bit too dark. I agree that a crop might help the compostion...either off the top or the bottom.

Also, make sure to straighten the horizon.
