B&W Surf Day (C&C please)

I tried to get some candid shots of the surfers today at Roackaway Beach, NY. Surf Conditions were good. Out of the 200+ photos I took these were probably my best. Attempted to get some actions shots but I need a better lens. What do you guys think? Overexposed? Underexposed? And do you have any tips on shooting B&W with foam that bad?

Theyre all a bit centered.

The second would have been much better if you had followed the rule of thirds,

but i liked em anyway.Good work


as for the foam, in photoshop or something, play with the levels and contrast


i hope you dont mind that i edited it.
i dont know if its better but i tried.
