Babies might be born soon

We have two storks on a nest in our area.
ventured out today to try and get some shots. They are in a wildlife reserve area though and I couldn't really get close. My 300mm simply doesn't cut it.

Well, here are two of the better shots. Extreme crops though.

Not bad for extreme crops. I like the idea on the silhouette shot a lot, might have cropped out the clutter at the bottom and moved the pole to the left side of the picture. Good luck with seeing (and photographing) the babies.

Hopefully you can figure something out to get closer. It will be nice to document the event when they hatch.

Getting closer is unfortunately out of the question. It's all fenced off and I am not willing to trespass and disturb these birds by getting to close.
