Babies!! The cute factor is high in this thread, you have been warned!

This is their first visit to the feeders, and they were too stinkin cute all clumsy a curious.
They came late in the day and stayed in the shade so I had to push the iso.

I only processed a few tonight before I was overcome with the cuteness and had to stop and save some for tomorrow lol ;)

Enjoy!

Proud Momma :)

Oh my word! That last one is cuteness galore! I think raccoons are one of the cutest animals ever.

Wow judi
You are the official Raccoon whisperer

Like number 4 and absolutely love the last one peeking out just too cute!!!!

Oh dear god. Too stinking cute! Such a great job on these pictures, Pixie :)

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go clean up after the cuteness-induced head explosion...

Very cute for sure! Really like the last one, peek a boo :)

I could be wrong, but I feel that dropping the shadows on the last one a little could help making both his eyes clearly visible. You are indeed the Racoon whisperer Judi :D, cuteness overload! :lovey:

I wonder if anybody has tried to domesticate racoons for sale as pets.

John.

Friends of ours had a couple raccoons as pets. VERY cool animals. HORRIBLE pets. lol

Rabbit... I loved the third one and the last one is the absolute slam-dunk. If you don't print, frame and start showing that, yer off your rocker.

Very cool, raccoons are great subjects.

Great set, but that last shot is the winner! Print it, frame it, hang it!

Awwwwwww!

You got the knack on them coons

Thanks so much all :)

Raj, looking with fresh eyes this morning I think you are right, it's a little dark and can use a tweak in the shadows/contrast.

I wonder if anybody has tried to domesticate racoons for sale as pets.

Ha! That video is great lol That's totally accurate, they are trouble with a capital T! lol It's funny the relationship they have with cats, neither are bothered... much with the other being around. Our cats sit at the screen door about 6 ft away from one of the feeders and watch the raccoons.

Bunny is right, while they start out as the most adorable pet they grow into .... trouble, they quickly become destructive and aggressive :(

Izzie, we run by the theory that we would rather know the raccoons that are around us and be familiar with them and their general health and demeanor than removing them and letting new ones come in and bring whatever with them (because they WILL come). We have 4 that are regulars every year, two girls and two boys, last year the girls had a total of 9 babies between them and none are returning since they are quite territorial critters, they send their babies out into the world. I can't wait to see the other Momma's brood, they haven't visited yet.

Great set PR, and agree with everyone on the last shot. But I wouldn't bring up the shadows too much, kind of like it just the way it is.
