Here's the latest ones of the little guys. Starting to look more like birds than some sort of mutants......

And Mom giving me the evil eye while the kids complain and try to see whats going on.

Ah, you're getting up closer and closer to them when Mama bird doesn't look, eh? The first one is stunningly close!!!

But I also like the second one because it offers us a chance to see where the nest was built into and how the entire scene around it (with Mama bird included) looks like. Thank you.

I watch for her to go off looking for worms or taking the poop sacs out of the nest. Then I run over real quick with a step ladder, take a couple of quick shots and then get the heck out of Dodge before she comes back and starts yelling at me.
