This will be my son's first Christmas so I wanted to try something I have never done before. Comments and suggestions are always appreciated!

too small to see much but his face looks flat and overprocessed.

Why not post larger pictures?

I will post a larger picture when I get to my computer...I posted from my phone.

All I did was remove cast, lightened it up and softened a little. Would any of that cause over processing?

the larger the image, the easier it is to see what is going on.
thus full size or at least half full res is best
Looking at very small pictures means that the viewer is working on only an impression, a guess, that might easily be wrong.

Thanks...it's a white sheet with icicle lights. It turned out much better than I thought it would!
