Back from a trip with 1000 images

It all will require you to spend some time getting familiar with lightroom - lots of good videos including the one sscarmack posted above.

After you flag, star, color, rate etc., in grid view you can filter by any criteria and do mass deletions.

I shot 1,000 RAw images on Monday. I processed 704 of them Tuesday, and did the other 300 yesterday afternoon. "Lightroom". I "finished" 23 of the very best ones last night in Photoshop CC.

Gadzooks! 1000 images! I don't take that many on the job during a week! I was on "assignment" at 3 locations today and ended up with 106 raws. Out of that I had 10 keepers per location.

I did 1,000 at one 50 minute soccer game before, though they did score 11 goals. Don't ask ... it was my first soccer game that I shot at. I only do about 1/4 of that now.
