Nice. My dad has an old singer machine he was looking for info about.
If you send me some good pics and maybe the model number, my wife can probably give you a good bit of into about it. She's got a lot of experience with vintage singers
 
Nothing runs like a Deere.

A very interesting hobby. I think your wife need to explore other countries in order to expand her collection internationally.

Pretty sure that's a model 128.
A 3/4 size machine. Probably has a bentwood case.
Wiring is shot. We've rewired a few of those. It uses a shuttle bobbin, which is kinda football shaped, instead of a round bobbin. Straight stitch only.

Thanks, Yea we figured the wiring would need to be redone. Cool old machine though. would you know by chance about how much these go for these days. I know he was looking to find out how much it was worth but i don't think he ever did find out.

Not much in the condition it's in.
Also depends on if the bentwood case is in good shape. And if the motor is still good...lot of factors.

If we were looking at it to restore I wouldn't pay more than $40 for it, assuming there was no rust and all the parts moved well.
