Back in Black!

one of the wife's latest acquisitions in vintage sewing machines.
a Singer 319W, Circa 1954.
the "keys" on the top change the stitch patters, and are used either singly, or in combination with other keys. It also takes flat cams, though the cams press pretty flat against the machine and is not really visible in the picture, but if you look closely at the silver knob above the bronze emblem and just under the keys, you can see that the knob is holding a flat cam tight to the machine. the key closest to the front of the machine is used to engage the cam.

well, the wife can only get so many machines. shes been trying to narrow it down to a few specific models she wants, and not just every vintage machine we run across.

It's not a matter of talking her into taking them... it's more a matter of paying for all of them, and having somewhere to put them all
