I didn't think there was an instagram style blur. I have instagram on my phone and the filters just change the color basically. They don't seem to add any blur - or at least not like the OP's image

I like it! But the one thing I would personally change is the blur around the photo. I think it would look better with a slight blur not a full border blur keep up the great work
