I am trying to figure out the best angles and spots to set up my backdrop in a home studio. I have lots of good light but it is not always even, and I have heard you need to angle the drop to get the best results. Should the windows be to the right, left, or front of the drop to make the most of the light? If you any of you have any pull backs of your setup I'd love to see them!

Thanks so much!

Have you got studio flashes ?

No, I just have my SB-600 on commander mode with a little softbox on it. There are three large windows that start almost at floor level and go up at least 6 ft, so I have a lot of natural light. One window is on the southeast side, the other two are facing southwest.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks again!

there's an easy answer

try every setup you mentioned

make sure you assume the day will be dark and cloudy when setting up too

Yes, I do plan to try a few different spots...
