Backlit Falls

Not sure this really works. A tough shot with the D90, but I liked the sun light at the top.

water looks nice, detail in the walls/stones is lacking

The water effect is good. There is little backlit sunlight. Perhaps if this was shot in bracketed exposures and processed in HDR you could have pulled out the contrast range.
