Backlit Yellow Flower

Hey Guys,

For this shot I figured I'd try something different. I got this flower (no idea what kind) and backlit it in my light box and added a little bit of fill flash for the front. I really like the way this looks. Not the usual shot as far as lighting. Did I miss something here? Technically I mean. It's an 8 shot stack and I think I got everything I wanted in focus, in focus. Thanks for looking!

It's VERY pretty. Love the color, love the idea.

I wonder if you could get more flash in the center of the flower there. It looks a little underexposed which I think hurts what is otherwise a very neat image.

The center of the flower looks low in contrast and kind of muddy...the lighter, backlighted outer parts look really nice, but the central part of the blossom looks pallid, with very weak, desaturated color that's simply not appealing.

Better? I reshot the whole thing and added more flash to the front.
