I'm not sure I like the spread leg position he's in, and something looks a little weird around his hands and the shadow on his pantleg. It really looks like he was superimposed on the background, which I find disconcerting (although I'm fairly certain he wasn't).

I think it's a great portrait! Maybe just a little more contrast.

I think the picture is really good but the flat brightness of the background make its lose too much impact.
I suggest you mask him out and bring up the black point on the background.
