Bad prints... Memory card?

Do memory cards effect printing quality? I have a memory card that came with my camera and my prints don't come out as clear as they look on my camera and computer

The only way a memory card can effect the print quality is if the memory card fails and thus you have no image to print.

So no memory cards DO NOT effect print quality.

Ok well I have no idea why my prints are blurry. they look great on my camera and computer :/

Sometimes, some printing-out machines will "see" the embedded thumbnail in an image, and will make a print from that, and not the overall image file, and the prints when that happens are VERY blurry. I've had this happen from both Kodak and Fuji printing machines.

Do you know how to fix that? I tried cvs and Walmart and they both came out bad. I'm trying Office Depot tomorrow

Order prints online from a reputable printing place that specializes in printing photos. I use AdoramaPix.

Nope.

I would not trust my images to someone who does not have more then 5 min of training and knows absolutely nothing about photo print standards.

No, it doesn't.. the quality of the image recorded in the file is up to your camera, lenses, and technique... the memory card, or hard disk that later stores that data won't impact the qualitative aspects of the image, per se.

My thinking is that either the pictures your are printing are heavily cropped so there isn't sufficient pixels/inch to give a decent resolution...or...the pictures are genuinely soft or out of focus due to any of a variety of issues such as too slow shutter speed, too thin DOF, etc. They will look OK on the camera LCD, and if viewed on a 'smallish' computer screen may still appear reasonably sharp.

Please post a sample or two with EXIF information so we can get a better idea of what is happening.

Open the original file in your software, resize the photo and convert to JPG . Then post.
