Bald Eagles coming back to my area....

Bald Eagles are returning to our area since leaving in mid May. These two Eagles come back to a nest located on a large power transmission tower. One of three nest I have for the season, but this one I rarely post due to the towers and power lines. The other 2 nest (in pine tree's) should have the Eagles back in a couple more weeks.

Rainy, windy and some harsh back lighting .....but 2 Eagles posing together, I couldn't resist the shot's!

Female is on the right....she is the larger one!

Nice and sharp in the eyes. I like the contrast of the eagles and the perch they are on. Not the standard southern slash pine shot.

Personally I love shooting on overcast days. Nice even light and you never have to shoot into the sun. :thumbup:
