This is what I love about living in Vermont. You never know when deer will walk across your lawn. This year I had a bald eagle visit!
Anyways I was outside working on something in the garage and just happened to see a fawn walking across my lawn so I quietly went inside to grab my camera and the 70-300 vr and sneaked back out without scaring it..but it didn't seem to care how close I got. It just stood there watching me. So I managed to get a good shot before it took off into the bushes.
D610 + 70-300 VR @ 300mm, f/5.6, 1/800, ISO 400 and processed in Lightroom CC.
