Nice texture. I would like to see it with the light from the bottom rather than the top. Right now, the shadow of the top one interrupts the mirroring by the second spatula (if that makes sense).

It does. But the back spatula is so much lighter than the 'main' one I actually tried to do what you're suggesting. It turned out the back spatula was so overpowering. So I used the shadow to tone it down.

And in reality, these were held together by a rubber band and propped up on a table against a tripod head. They're really standing straight up, and I just turned the camera at an angle.
