Hi everyone,
A couple of shots from the other week of Bankside Power Station and the Thames. Any critique would be much appreciated. I've tried to capture some new perspectives of these locations; hopefully I was relatively successful!
Thanks in advance,
Rowan

Hi Rowan. I really like #1 then #4. In #2 something is off for me, not the angle, angle I love, but there is something uneasy in the clouds. Hm... In #4 the best looking part is the logo. Man, do you prepare all your pictures for the book cover ? :sexywink:

Oh dear. Either that means the picture is really bad or the logo is really good! ;) Hopefully the latter.

And what do you think ? Is the logo the most important part of your pictures ? You post them here in such a low resolution so this kind of defence against theft is not really necessary, but it is obtrusive. One pro in my city told me, that he prefers, that someone steals his pictures. This way he can get more money for it. :D

I guess it may have been a bit overkill you're right. I just quite liked the look of the logo!

I like this set very much, except #3, which I'm not keen on.

These are nice and definitely add something new and fresh to a power station. I like the artistic approach to the subject, the focus on light and form. The weakest for me is #2. Too much deadspace, methinks. The lighting on the tower is not quite powerful enough to have it fully occupying that much space. It sort of blends into the background, when I would like it to be standing out.
