This was a spur of the moment photo, I had to change background to get rid of the people and hands.

My first try, please C&C

Its a cute baby but the lighting is not very good.. pop up flash? The shadow beneath her chin is unflattering and it overall seems underexposed. The white could be brighter, her face could be creamier, her eyes could shine..

I changed the Background, and messed with contrast.
I have been really trying to get rid of the shadow below here chin, but to no avail.
I keep getting a border around it, to much or not enough cut.

She is a cutie but maybe this shot should just be a candid snapsot with hands and background and all and then perhaps set up a photo shoot with her outfit if you really wanted to do a baptism portrait - something where you can control more like thebackground and lighting etc

Well I am going to bump this one, only because I am not able to get this sweety back in her dress and do a "photo shoot".

There was no photographer at the Baptism and would really like to come up with something special for her Mom to have and cherish.

Were there other photos in the shoot. when my son was born, I made announcements made from a montage of the photos I took the two days after birth. The photo by itself my not be as powerful as you would hoped but a series might change everything.

tried to get rid of the shadow a bit
I gave it a quick try on photoshop, keep in mind I'm not to great at it.

You did much better on removing shadow than I did.
I seemed to cut to much or not enough and had a ring around shadow area.

Thanks. I tried using the clone tool, idk if theres another way to do it.

Cute kid. Mine's about to pop some day and I can't wait. I think the background doesn't do much. I like the edit from vituccin. Having the baby off center.

I would actually take some off the right side as well. Centering the baby once again showing even less of the background.

Something along those lines I guess... I'm at work and just took some off using paint. But that's kinda what I mean...
