A while ago I had left my batteries in my SB 600 for a couple months without using it. The batteries leaked and I had to send in my flash to be cleaned. Since then I have made it a practice to remove the batteries from my flash whenever I am not using it. Is this going to create a problem eventually because I am inserting and taking out the batteries so frenquently?

Not unless you are doing it like 4 times a day.

Batteries don't leak normally. I've only ever found a leak on a battery that has been sitting idle for months. If you don't use your flash for more than a month or so then you'll probably need to take the battery out anyway since NiMh lose their charge sitting idle, but if you use the flash every 2-3 weeks then it's fine.
