Bay Area earthquake

Am I the only one in the Bay Area that felt that earthquake?

It felt a lot bigger than a 4.4, and it made a bunch of stuff on my desk fall off. I suppose it affected me a lot because I live on the border of Berkeley and Orinda.... :stun:

I felt it too, and although it only lasted maybe 4 seconds it was very pronounced.

BTW, I'm in downtown Berkeley, just south of campus.

Yes, it seemed bigger than the couple of 4.0's that we had around December. I'm up by Grizzly Peak, which is a bit closer to Lafayette (where it actually occured) than downtown Berkeley. My mom heard on the radio that someone in Berkeley's window cracked and their lower wall started to slide a little, though. Freaky.

I do not envy you, guys! I lived through a 7.2 one and it's no fun. Let's hope the 'big' one is just a myth.
