It's only the second time I've seen one do this and it amazes me every time. I think he secretly wanted to be a Blue Angel.

Wow, didn't even know that was possible.

Not sure what it means, if anything... but it's fun to watch, he did it a few times as they prepared to land in a nearby lake.

And in case anyone is wondering - no, it's not Photoshopped. You can see his head is turned the right way, it's just his body that's upside down.

Great capture... and... hmmm... that duck trying to suntan his belly? It is higher up in the sky so can get more of those sun radiation... lol

Very cool. I've watched alot of geese and never seen this. He's just showing off.

I raised a family of 6 canadian geese, and have hundreds of photos of them, lol, they were with me for a year.The aerial flights they took were amazingly goofy, strange and hilarious...sometimes they just ain't elegant
