I like the low angle in this one... and cropping - you didn't crop out the light and that's good
Where bouts you live?...not much in the way of color here yet.

They all look pretty nice. Good work.
One think I noticed, they all seem to have the subjects dead centre with space all around them. This works for some of the shots because of the nice scenery but for the most part...it makes them look a little snapshotish. Try to think of different compositions. Try getting closer to them to crop out the space around them so they are more prominent in the photo.

I like the shots you have taken...!
I agree on the shots taken from the low angle, they are really nice. Others could maybe to taken a a bit closer to the subjects (your family) at maybe a more dynamic angle than straight on.
As for some of the B&W's, adding a little contract would be nice also.
Take all of this with a grain of salt, I am just trying to get into learning portrait-type shots myself. Just a casual observation.

Thanks guys! These are totally unedited--just waiting for my new Dell computer to arrive complete with Photoshop so I can get crackin' on editing them. I do agree on the drop dead center-ness of them though. I so need to get away from plunking them in the middle.
