I grabbed this shot as I walked my dogs - she was having a little Preen on the river bank near my home

Yep, too cold for an index finger to be exposed for very long.

I like shots of birds preening and this is a good one with the warm light, comp. and sharpness.

When I lived up north where there's actually a winter I had a different glove for everything. I don't miss it too much either.
