you cant see the dirt from your lens... its too far from the sensor to be seen.

Definitely your sensor. The horizon is not level. A good shot, doesn't look HDR at all, which is good IMO.

Edit: I took a closer look, and I see that the tree line is very soft, as is the pier. I think you could have achieved a much more crisp shot if you would have taken one exposure and used a grad ND filter. I also think cropping some off the top would also help here.

Great photo. Love the tones. How do you like that 18-70 lens? Is there a big difference between this one and the 18-105?
