Good. I did several things to the eyes but the sharpening was more to the eye lashes. Among other things, I brightened the eyes and took the red out of them.

You have a good eye for detail (pun intended ;-)). Okay, that has run its course, sorry. But seriously, I like your attention to detail skieur. Very helpful.

You might know I am a big fan of desaturated color. I think this almost qualifies. I personally would have loved them even a little desaturated.

To counter that view, I always remember an interesting quote from an author and photographer Ted Padova

"Colour is the soul of the image. It deserves perfection."

Well who am I to argue with Ted.. Except on a personal note I think portraits are about more than skin color and sharpness. They have a soul of their own. I don't think the color adds all that much to it. But that is just my opinion not based in anything.

I personally find this very appealing as a portrait of a teenager. But hey everything thing is not for everyone. I wish I could remember the Yogi Beara quote for that.

Great shots My main critique is be careful of dappled lighting. See the spots on her cheek- the shadows? Either find open shade and use a reflector or shoot in the sun when it's lower in the sky.
