Beauty Portraits: LookPare

LookPare is definitely no stranger to all. After clinching the Top 5 title of the FHM Thailand GND 2009 competition, her fame has rose tremendously. I get to know her through a friend of mine. LookPare has taken on many photo assignments, mostly in bikinis. For these set of images, I would like to introduce LookPare in a different perspective - We shall hit the streets!

What I had in mind was to get LookPare to walk around in one of the busiest shopping areas in Bangkok. I wanted LookPare to do as if she is shopping and not realized that she is being photographed. I armed myself with my D90 and my 35mm f/1.8 and started my paparazzi shooting spree...

This is where you will really appreciate the Nikon full frames for their fast responses and accurate autofocuses! My D90 failed badly. Focusing time during the action really takes too long! What makes matters worse, security guards have been eyeing on us and chasing us everywhere we go!

Also, why is it that Thai people like their models to look as un-Thai as possible?

Hmmmm. Nice photos to be sure, but IMHO I don't think you achieved the above statement. To me she pretty much looks like she's posing in every shot.
