This was a complete re-shoot of an image I made a year ago in this abandoned house in rural Manitoba. The place was in much worse shape than the first time. You could also tell that some other people had visited since 2009, because a couple items were missing. The snow was entering the hall through a broken window, making this tricky exposure even trickier but – I think – more interesting.

Yes, a tricky exposure, but you seem to have nailed it as always. Really nice image overall - wonderful texture pretty much everywhere you look.

Here you go:

The new one was shot wider, and from lower (to control the distortion a bit more). I think that the improvements (if any) are in the post-processing department.

Thanks, John. I used Nik Software's suite (which is basically all I use for my processing these days).
