It's been a busy year for JLP and doesn't show signs of stopping (thank goodness). I am in the middle of opening a studio downtown on top of the wedding and senior work that has been flowing in. Thrown in a wife and a couple of kids and I'm living one hectic life at times. I just thought I would check in and say hi!

Here are a few recent outings for fun... I post this here in the beginners section because this is where I learned a lot. Noobs that are quick to get defensive... Listen, don't argue, and learn.

Well, although I have spent the equivalent to a sh1t ton of time reading and shooting, a lot of what I have learned came from here. Sometimes it is hard to sift through the garbage that it spewed out on the forum pages by someone who has little to no knowledge about what they are talking about, but when you do... Good things happen. The best advice I could give to someone who is just starting out is to shut your mouth and listen. That, along with reading... A LOT... and shooting even more, anyone can learn to create a decent image.

Ill give you 10 likes LOL. Seriously.. where is he? He hasnt responded to my pm. I hope all is well.

Off-topic: Sweaty lens...what's the reward for finding Derrell?
