I used my EF 100 mm macro. Handheld so i I could follow them around. Manual focus.
The reason I chose manual focus was more 'cause my lens is the older non-USM version with slow,inaccurate AF. Otherwise I may have chosen to shoot AF on AI servo(tracking focus).
ISO 400
F/8 (aperture priority)
1/1250 (shutter was variable)
