Hello every one I just found this forum and am in need of some advice. I just got my hands on a Minolta X-700 camera with two Tamron Adaptall-2 lenses, an F/2.5 28mm and a 70-210mm F/3.8-4. I know nothing about photography and would like to know more about what I have here. Any help and advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Roger
From there go to your local library/book store and pick up a copy of some photography books. Grab, "Understanding Exposure", "Learning to See Creatively" both by Bryan Peterson. Also, try a book called "The New Manual of Photography" by John Hedgecoe. Pick up any books they might have there on your camera. Read your owner's manual. Go out and practice practice practice!!!
