Beginner Macro

Hey

Tried out Macro with my first DSLR Camera. How am I doing?

I can't tell what the first one is but it is nice and sharp. And the second one is beautiful :thumbup:

Thank You. Focus I thought was the issue but I didn't have a remote release and I was shaking a little during some of my shots.

Like Tirediron has taught me, you just have to rock back and forth to get it in focus and pew pew away.

Manual focus. Get it in focus, but because even a little bit of movement will take it out of focus, sway forward and backwards while taking exposures, and you'll find a keeper in the bunch.

That may not work so well with macro. A millimeter of movement can put you out of focus. Manual focus is a must though. And using a higher F stop will help. I'd go as high as you can without getting too much noise from having to increase your ISO.
