i just bought a 52mm uv filter lens for my nikond40.. is it gonna make a difference if i attach both a lens hood and a uv filter ? or it depends? .. is it also possible to attach both at the same time?..

You can attach both, and it will be perfectly fine.
Most people leave a UV filter on there full time to protect their lens face. As for what it does (that I have seen using it), I really couldnt tell you. Well, other then increase lens flare in certain lighting conditions.

I hope you bought a good filter. Just about all of them take away from the image quality and flare like crazy. Use a hood. Make sure the filter is multi coated. GL

i bought a cheap one .. its not multicoated ... huh it loses quality for the photo? .. is flare ? bad? ... ok do u guys know where i can buy good lens hood .. im from hawaii btw and i dont buy mines online only at stores..
